| January 8th | A SOCIAL EVENING This year our social evening will be led by Andi Philips and Carol Shaw who will deliver a fun quiz to start off the year. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. A great social evening for all. |

| February 12th | THE HISTORY OF TABLE MANNERS Catherine Buchanan will be talking about the history of Table Manners and The English Tea Ceremony (with not a crooked little finger in sight). |
| March 12th | RAPE (Part 2) The very informative Mary Newton will be visiting us again with her follow up talk on Rape. This time the focus will be on Serial Rapists. A serious subject but one most of us find absolutely fascinating. |
| April 9th | WINE Mike Rhodes will be joining us to talk about his journey from surgeon to wine maker. He has a vineyard in Thurston and produces abouty 4000 bottles of red, white and rose wines yearly. He has won many awards. |
| May 14th | AGM/RESOLUTION MEETING Our only business meeting of the year to elect a new committee and president and vote on this year's WI resolution. We will also add in a bit of fun! |
| June 11th | WITCHES Mike Wabe will be telling us about the Witches and Witch Hunting in East Anglia - about how Matthew Hawkins terrorised the population causing many witches (and men) to go to their death. Sounds spooky!!! |
| July 9th | GARDEN SUPPER PARTY Format and venue to be decided. |
| August 13th | CATS PROTECTION Rebecca George will give us a talk on the very worthwhile charity of Cats Protection. Meow! |
| September 10th | THE ATHENEUM Adrian Tindall's talk is entitled 'Persons of Quality" and the story of the Atheneum in Bury St Edmunds - a very familiar building. |
| October 8th | CHOCOLATE Cheryl Bightly from Artistry in Cocoa will talk about the harvesting of chocolate, chocolate consumption and will bring microwave to demonstrate how to fill mounds etc. And we get to taste - Yum, Yum!! |
| November 12th | MILITARY ATTACHE John Foreman is the speaker. A former Military Attache in Russia. Should be enlightening!! |
| 10th December | THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER Format and after dinner entertainment to be decided |
