Nayland and District WI
A Modern Voice For Women
Formed in 1915, the WI is the largest national organisation for women in the UK with a total of 220,000 members in England, Wales and the Islands.
The Nayland and District Institute was founded in February 1957. Its purpose is to offer opportunities for all women to:
- Enjoy Friendship
- Learn
- Widen their horizons
- Influence Local, National and International affairs
The Women's Institute gives you the opportunity to meet new people in the village; have fun and listen to interesting and amusing guest speakers and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and chat. A number of interesting outings take place every year and we also help the village in raising funds for local charitable causes.
We meet every third Monday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall and welcome visitors of all ages so please come and join us.
