Visit to Flatford
On Friday 28th June 20 members of Suffolk West, including 3 from Hadleigh - Rae Stapleton, Pat Rocks and Glenn Abbassi, enjoyed time at Flatford which inspired some of John Constable's most famous paintings. We were split into two groups, each led by a very knowledgeable National Trust guide, and walked to locations which Constable had been inspired to paint. After our educational morning, we sustained ourselves at the riverside tea room, and visited the adjacent gift shop.
