All About Us

Chevington WI was started in 1921 and one of the first WI's formed in the West Suffolk area. It now covers the surrounding villages of Hargrave, Chedburgh, Great Saxham, and Depden.

We meet in Chevington Village Hall on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm. The meeting starts with a short business session, followed by a speaker/demonstration, refreshments and finally drawing of the raffle. We run occasional competitions, bring and buy sales and book swaps at the meetings also. Throughout the year we have various outings including trips to the theatre, coast or just a meal out. We also run occasional full day workshops in the village hall on a variety of subjects which give us the opportunity of learning something new as well as the time to chat – we do love a good natter! 

We are a very friendly group of ladies and would welcome any new members who think they might like to join us. Come along and give us a try.
