More About Us
About us
Norton Women's Institute is a small (but perfectly formed!) group of ladies who live in and around the village.
It is a very friendly group, with the more established members welcoming newcomers to the village over the last year or so.
We usually meet on Monday afternoons at 2.30pm and have a range of speakers and activities to suit a wide range of interests. This is followed by informal chat over tea and biscuits.
Over the course of the year we go out together to visit beautiful gardens and other places of interest. In 2016 there were many highlights including an outing to Sandringham and a leisurely boat trip on the river at Sudbury.
Once a month we have an informal lunch at one of the nearby village pubs. These lunches and the trips are organised for us by Jane Williams. Thank you Jane!
We would love to welcome more members so please contact Val Ford the secretary on 01359 233320 for more information.
Do come and join us to make new friends and learn more about the lovely area in which we live!
