MONDAY 18th  SEPTEMBER 10.30AM-12.30PM BACK TO THE JETTY, QUAY LANE, SUDBURY FOR THIS EVENT, OUR USUAL MEETING PLACE.   

ENTRANCE ON THE SIDE, WHEELCHAIR ACCESS - A WARM WELCOME AWAITS

Guests welcome to this event - £4.00.  Refreshments will be served.  A raffle will take place. 

Join us for our Craft Meeting.  Over the last few months, we have been making finger puppets for the MyWISH charity supporting West Suffolk Hospital.  These finger puppets are given to young children whom are attending the hospital for scans and infusions etc.   We have already made nearly 100 to decorate our Christmas Tree at St Peter's Church Christmas Tree Festival organised by the Rotary Club,  Market Hill, Sudbury in aid of charity.  Following the festival the finger puppets will be given to the MyWISH charity.

We are just about to start our Craft project for MyWISH for 2024 -  making material bereavement bags A5, A4 and A3 for the family of patients who die in hospital when collecting their possessions.  This alleviates having to be given a plastic bag.   We have also been asked to make small blankets for neo natal babies and for memory boxes for those babies that sadly pass away.  On a lighter note we will be knitting/sewing  small teddy bears and other toys for children having procedures.
